Mainship
47 Motor Yacht
Introduced in 1990 and updated in 1993 with a new layout, the Mainship 47 is one of the least expensive motor yachts in her class. With her distinctive appearance (note the unusual window treatment and aggressive bridge overhang), the Mainship 47 is a modern motor yacht design with a good deal of standard equipment packed into her affordable price. Her modified V-hull is cored from the waterline up and comes with a moderate 12-degree transom deadrise. Originally offered with three staterooms, the current floorplan has two staterooms with the galley and dining area aft cabin (and the aft deck above) is small for a boat this size. A utility room housing the washer/dryer and workbench is forward of the engine room. Additional features include an underwater exhaust system, foredeck sunpad and light oak interior woodwork. Standard 485-hp 6-71’s will cruise at 22 knots and reach a top speed of about 25 knots.
