Mainship 39 Express

The 39 Express (originally called the Mainship 39 Open) has the bold and seductive profile of a modern American Sportboat, although the absence of a curved windshield is a little disappointing. She was built on a solid fiberglass hull with a wide beam and modest transom deadrise. Inside, the Mainship 39’s two-stateroom interior is lavish and quite spacious. The convertible dinette and settee provide seating for a crowd, and outside natural lighting is excellent thanks to a series of translucent overhead deck hatches. The single-level cockpit of the Mainship 39 is huge, with a contoured sun lounge next to the helm, a full wet bar and wraparound lounge seating for guests. Additional features include a unique BI-level transom design, twin foredeck sun pads, side exhausts a radar arch. Note that the sidedecks are extremely narrow on this boat and going forward is a dicey proposition underway. With V-drives and 502-cid Crusader gas engines, the Mainship 39 Express will cruise at 21 knots and reach a top speed of 28-29 knots.
